What to Know Before You Refer
- Medicare referrals need an email address. CMS rules prohibit cold calls to Medicare beneficiaries, so include your client’s email, or have your client call our office at (803) 256-2067 after you submit the referral.
- Ask permission first. Select whether Lourie Life & Health has permission to market to your client.
- Fees follow completed enrollments. Fees are paid based on the enrollment date. Life Insurance fees are paid once the first premium is paid.
- Policies must take effect. Lourie Life & Health may deduct from future referral fees for any policy that does not go into effect with the carrier.
