Sarah is a strategic and vision-oriented Chief Operating Officer who leverages decades of executive experience in employee benefit program leadership. She has a consistent history of delivering exceptional customer service and achieving on-time, on-budget results, all while fostering uplifting, supportive, and high-performing company cultures. Currently, Sarah is honored to serve as COO at LL&H, where she champions their mission to provide vital insurance resources to the community at no cost to clients or agents.

Her career includes a significant tenure as COO of the South Carolina Public Employee Benefit Authority (PEBA), where she led the management of a self-funded health insurance plan impacting over half a million individuals and the substantial SC Retirement Systems, with over $30 billion in assets, serving more than 300,000 members. Sarah’s experience spans nearly every aspect of business, including HR, Information Technology, project management, accounting, customer service, process improvement, communications, compliance, investment, and budget management.

Beyond the numbers and details, Sarah finds deep personal and professional reward in helping people and teams grow and reach their full potential. This commitment extends from supporting and developing LL&H’s agents and employees to providing impactful consulting to their agencies. A proud native of Frontenac, Kansas, the values of hard work and honesty instilled in her rural upbringing remain central to her approach. Sarah’s academic credentials include a summa cum laude Accounting degree from the Honors College of Pittsburg State University, a Master’s from the University of South Carolina, and her CPA license. More than anything, she is also a proud mother of two wonderful young men.
