Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Kathy studied at Butler County Vocational Technical School and Olympic College, earning an associate’s degree in computer sciences. She worked in retail and business to business sales for twenty years before owning and operating a pet care business for seven years. Since moving to South Carolina, Kathy worked as a manager at a local animal rescue for four years. At Lourie Life & Health, Kathy provides customer service and support to clients and agents. She loves spending time out of the office with her cats and dog, as well as kayaking and exploring the outdoors with her husband. In the fall and winter, Kathy loves watching NFL games (especially the Pittsburgh Steelers) and playing fantasy football. Kathy is a fan of 80’s rock and 90’s R&B music, as well as true crime documentaries. She remains involved in animal rescue, volunteering at Pawmetto Lifeline once a month, helping with pet adoption events and animal care, as well as fostering local rescues.
