Chris Johnson has a passion for helping others. Originally from Lugoff, SC, and a proud graduate of the University of South Carolina, Chris began his insurance career in 2006 as an independent insurance agent.

He worked as Vice President of Training and Development for a large, national FMO/IMO for six years, where he made a name for himself training insurance agents throughout the country. In 2014, Chris joined his friend Joel at Lourie Life & Health, where he is Senior Vice President and Partner and has cemented himself as a respected industry expert.

Chris loves to spend time with his wife Kelly and two children, watching his beloved Gamecocks, barbequing in his backyard, and traveling to watch his kids play sports and cheer. Chris is also your trusted source for advice on all things food!
